CMM Programming Specialist

Position: CMM Programming Specialist Needed
Pursue a career as a CMM Programmer with Linamar, where you'll maintain CMM programs and perform inspections. Your expertise in GD&T and programming software will be crucial in this role.

As a CMM Programmer at Linamar, you will be responsible for fixture verifications and gauge calibrations within the manufacturing sector. This position requires a blend of programming experience using Calypso or PCDMS and a solid understanding of GD&T concepts.

Your role aims to optimize inspection processes, ensuring quality and reliability in product assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage CMM programs for accurate inspections

• Operate and train on CMM and related gauges

• Backup and review programs for ongoing efficiency

• Handle in-process inspections and first-off checks as necessary

• Maintain and archive all relevant CMM data

Requirements:

• High School Diploma preferred

• 5 years minimum in metrological inspections

• 3+ years in CMM programming with appropriate software

• Proficient in GD&T and blueprint interpretation

• Experienced with CAD and 3D modeling applications
