$21.00 up to $24.91 hourly

Position Summary

Reporting to the Production supervisors, the incumbent will assist with a variety of tasks to support the production process. Responsibilities can include a variety of tasks such as grinding, buffing, painting, packing, loading and unloading, and operating tools, equipment, and machinery. The role requires a hands‑on approach, ensuring work pieces meet quality standards and working in a safe manner in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading production parts with the jib crane using attachments such as magnets, nylon slings, chain slings, and hooks
  • Use of handheld tools such as grinders and wire wheels
  • Use of handheld and functional gauges to ensure product quality when required
  • Inspecting parts as per the final product verification (FPV) and work order instructions
  • Packaging and allocating parts as per standard work instructions
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area using the principles of 5S
  • Adherence to the company’s policy and procedures
  • Working in a fast‑paced environment
Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary school or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
Required Skills & Expertise
  • Safety and quality conscious
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Dedicated, reliable, and able to work as a team player
  • Able to use grinders, jib cranes, and related lifting attachments, and handheld equipment that may be necessary to the job
  • Follow written instructions when completing a work order to barcode production
