Lead Hand to the Toolroom Supervisor

Issue WO’s to Tool Room Personnel/follow up with employee and support to be sure it has been completed on schedule and correctly.

The lead hand position has an added hourly premium.

• Prioritize workload through Press scheduling.
• Assess tooling before removing from work centre.
• Follow die maintenance procedures.
• Assist engineering on die problems, if possible.
• Will comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Responsible to Tool Room Supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Tool & Die Maker by Trade.
• Ability to Build and repair dies.
• Troubleshoot job-related problems.
• Supervisory capabilities.
• Welding/pneumatic/hydraulic experience an asset.
