Duties

  • Performs a variety of routine duties relating to set ups for coil winding/storage of materials and delivery of incoming material
  • Use/process supplies (i.e. frames, rods, etc). Assisting where needed for the manufacturing of coils.
  • Maintains in stock an adequate supply of materials used in the assembly/winding areas
  • Institutes re-ordering procedure for approval or within set parameters
  • Checks quality and quantity of all incoming material and delivers same to proper storage area
  • Stores material in its proper place and keeps storage area neat and tidy
  • Delivers material from storage to assembly/winding areas as per schedule and delivers completed coils to proper areas to be further processed
  • Buckles and unbuckles coils/frames
  • Testing
Qualifications
  • Must be familiar with transformer materials and able to work under minimum supervision
Compensation

Full-time Hourly Starting Rate - $28.22. Shift and Premium Pay Available: $1.00/hr. – Afternoon shift premium; $2.50/hr. – Dedicated trainer premium; $3.00/hr. – Shift advisor premium. Full range - $28.22 - $32.07 – as per the collective agreement.
