Oerlikon Balzers Canada is looking for an energetic and detail oriented Technician (2nd Shift 3pm-11:30pm) to join our team in our state of the art center in Guelph, Ontario
. The Technician pre-treats a variety of customer products using standardized procedures in preparation for coating. The position requires analytical thinking to oversee and assemble chamber loads based on customer specifications.

• Perform daily changeover maintenance of pre/post treatment equipment.
• Oversee and assemble chamber loads based on standard procedures and customer specifications.
• Disassembling and reconfiguring the chamber for subsequent loads.
• Continuous visual inspection and handling of customer product with the highest level of care.
• Work with the Quality Coordinator to identify and address quality concerns.

• Must be hands on and ability to stand and wear PPE.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Ability to work with hands and be able lift 30 lbs.
