Manufacturing Engineer at Linamar

Join Linamar as a Manufacturing Engineer, where you'll enhance operational performance through design, fabrication, and modification of machining and assembly processes. This role focuses on optimizing production output and improving part quality.

As a key member of the Linamar team, you will leverage your engineering expertise to investigate new machinery, conduct time studies, and plan improvements on production lines. You will assist in developing operation sheets while troubleshooting quality issues and training shop floor personnel on best practices related to FMEAs and process flows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate new machinery and resolve processing issues

• Plan and execute projects for production line improvements

• Conduct time studies to optimize existing processes

• Develop and train staff on process documentation

• Assist in preparing quotations and liaising with suppliers

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years' engineering experience in manufacturing

• Knowledge of machining processes, CNC, and tooling

• Familiarity with FMEA and statistical analysis tools

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
