Are you a skilled Material Handler with some reach experience looking to grow your career in a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics environment? Our client, a leader in the natural products distribution industry, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team in Guelph, ON. In this role, you will be the backbone of the production floor, ensuring that the flow of materials is seamless and efficient.
You will be responsible for receiving goods, inspecting incoming materials, and keeping high-speed production lines fully stocked to meet demand.
This position operates within a strictly regulated Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment. To maintain the highest safety and quality standards, all team members are required to follow specific hygiene protocols, including wearing lab coats and hairnets and adhering to a no-jewelry policy.
This role requires 6 months experience on a reach truck as well as a reliable vehicle to travel to the worksite as it is not on a direct bus route.

- Unloading trucks and staging materials for Quality Control (QC) inspection to ensure product integrity.
- Transferring released goods into designated storage locations using specialized power equipment.
- Maintaining production line efficiency by picking orders and refilling materials according to production tickets.
- Completing all necessary receiving documentation accurately to maintain inventory records.
- Reporting any non-conformances or safety hazards immediately to management.
- Performing daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation duties in your respective work areas.
- Complying with all safety, GMP, and SQF requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
- 6 months experience on a reach truck.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to coordinate with production and QC teams.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when inspecting goods and completing documentation.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a material handling or warehouse role.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull materials as required by the production schedule.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic to support a continuous production cycle.
