This position at Gay Lea Foods, a dairy farmer-owned cooperative, involves overseeing shift operations from 1:30 to 10 pm. As a supervisor, you will be at the heart of production activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and making critical decisions. Your leadership will support a culture of continuous improvement while actively engaging with your team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise plant operations during shifts
• Implement staff training and disciplinary procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with various departments on production issues
• Complete documentation for GMPs and H&S compliance
Requirements:
• Five years of experience in HACCP/SQF environments
• Supervisory experience of at least three years
• Solid understanding of GMPs and food safety protocols
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
