Cargill invites candidates to apply for up to 50 Industrial Butcher roles at their Guelph, Ontario location. This position caters to both experienced and entry-level butchers, with specific knife skill training provided. Ideal candidates will commit to safety and quality in meat handling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Slaughter livestock efficiently and humanely
• Prepare carcasses by skinning and cleaning
• Remove unwanted cuts and inedible parts
• Split and manage carcasses for processing
• Adhere to food safety and health standards
Requirements:
• 1-7 months of relevant butchery experience
• Preferably familiar with band saws and cutting tools
• Capability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Enthusiastic about learning and developing skills
• Good communication skills in English
