FULL-TIME PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBERS WANTED   The Press Line Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the compression presses, hot boxes, forklift, crane, walkie and hand tools such as knives and picks. It is their responsibility to make a quality product and maintain a safe work environment when loading and unloading rubber from the presses.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

While working in teams of multiple press operators:
Priorities are:
1) work safely
2) good quality
3) meet or exceed required production numbers.
Follow press line schedule and routers
Ensure raw materials are stocked and ready for use
Load / unload rubber from presses using forklifts
Pre use audits, Quality load checklist audits, and quality in process checks.
Inspect finished parts for quality and visual appearance and ensure documentation is correct. Any suspect parts are to be put aside for quality control verification.
Trim parts so they are conforming for end use
Label all parts clearly and accurately
Ability to do the first off inspections
Perform daily pre start inspections on cranes and forklifts for safety.
Ensure weight of raw materials (prep) is correct prior to loading press
Record all production data on appropriate forms
Maintain good housekeeping of area
Report all Health and safety issues immediately
Wear all PPE required and work in a safe manner
NCR's filled out properly with clear, accurate explanation
Ensure the requirements of ISO 9001 and Polycorp's QMS are conformed with.
All other duties as required.
We are looking for  Pressline Operators  to join our Team. The successful candidates will be responsible to help manufacture our product in support of our principles of safety, quality and on time delivery.

Please note:

Polycorp is not located on a bus route- own transportation is required. Candidates must be able to work rotating shifts every two weeks.
Skill and Abilities:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Mechanically inclined
Ability to work well with others.
Understands principles of product and service quality
Team player and can communicate effectively with co-workers
Experience in a manufacturing environment
