As a key member of Linamar's team, you'll operate and maintain saws and cutting equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. We seek candidates who can read blueprints and are comfortable with basic math for accurate measurements.

Experience with specialty steel and CNC Bandsaw programming is preferred, contributing to our high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain saws while following safety protocols

• Read blueprints and determine cutting requirements

• Perform math calculations for precise cuts

• Set up Bandsaws for accuracy and adjust as needed

• Assist in component assembly post-cutting

Requirements:

• Minimum grade 12 or equivalent; machining experience preferred

• Experience with honed tube and chrome shafting

• Strong basic math skills for measurement accuracy

• Ability to operate cranes safely

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
