Forklift Operator, Material Handler, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
Location: Chatham-Kent (not on a bus route)
Role Type:Temporary to Permanent
Hours per Week: Full-time (40+ hrs weekly)
Start Date: Immediate
Schedule: Monday through Saturday
- Straight Day's: 7:00 am to 3:30pm
- Straight Afternoon's: 3:30pm to 12:00am
Wage: $20.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
- Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
- Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
- Identifying workplace safety hazards.
- Adhering to safety management standards.
- Adhering to production schedules.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid fork-lifting certificate 2 > years experience preferred.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Proficiency in operating technical machinery.
- Good physical condition.
- Mathematical aptitude.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
