This role focuses on delivering specialized wound and ostomy care both in clinics and the community. As a NSWOC, you will empower patients in self-management and actively contribute to holistic assessments. Your expertise will guide clinical strategies and professional development as you collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat patients with wounds and ostomies
• Perform lower-leg assessments, including ABPIs
• Apply evidence-based practices in wound management
• Conduct conservative sharp wound debridement and bandaging
• Collaborate with nursing team for optimal patient care
Requirements:
• RN diploma and current CNO registration
• Graduate of NSWOCC with wound experience
• Strong communication skills in English
• Valid driver’s license for patient visits
• Current immunization and CPR certification
