Join Groves Memorial Community Hospital as a part-time Registered Nurse in the OBS/Surgical Inpatient unit. This role is pivotal in ensuring comprehensive care across three shifts, including weekends.
The ideal candidate holds a current College of Nurses certificate and excels in patient assessment and IV medication administration. Familiarity with antepartum and postpartum care, along with a passion for enhancing breastfeeding support, is essential. Candidates with surgical experience will find this role particularly rewarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to surgical and obstetric patients

• Start IVs and administer IV medications as required

• Conduct thorough assessments for new mothers and infants

• Provide breastfeeding education and advocacy

• Communicate effectively with patients and families
Requirements:

• Current certificate from the College of Nurses

• Must have or be willing to obtain NRP certification

• ACoRN certification needed for the role

• One year of nursing experience is preferred

• Complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment
