Transform your nursing skills at Groves Memorial Community Hospital as a Registered Nurse within the Operating Room. This part time role emphasizes excellent clinical support and allows for growth through training in surgical care.
As a regular part-time Registered Nurse, you will engage in comprehensive nursing care across the OR, Endoscopy Suite, and Recovery Room. Preference will be given to those with PACU certification, while the “Grow Your Own” initiative promotes career development with financial backing. You'll be expected to exhibit leadership abilities and a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver effective nursing care in surgical settings
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and protocols
• Manage rotating on-call shifts as needed
• Contribute to educational endeavors within the department
• Foster teamwork and communication among staff
Requirements:
• Valid College of Nurses Competence Certificate
• Current BCLS; ACLS & PALS certifications required
• Capacity to pursue perioperative nursing course
• Proven critical-thinking and organizational skills
• Must pass Police Vulnerable Sector Check
