Nurse Position in Operating Room

You'll provide nursing care in the Operating Room and related areas, ensuring adherence to the College of Nurses of Ontario standards. This role welcomes those who are eager to learn through our targeted support programs, with preference given to PACU-certified applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the Operating Room and PACU

• Participate actively as part of the surgical team

• Provide leadership and charge nurse duties when applicable

• Engage in nursing education initiatives for professional growth

• Communicate effectively with patients and surgical staff

Requirements:

• Current College of Nurses Certificate of Competence

• Post-Graduate Course in Perioperative Nursing, or commit to one

• Current BCLS and readiness to obtain ACLS, PALS

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Must undergo health assessment and background checks
