Advance your nursing career at Groves Memorial Community Hospital as a part time Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This role focuses on providing specialized care while offering opportunities for further education and certification.

The part-time Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care within various surgical departments. Preference will be given to candidates with PACU certification; however, the “Grow Your Own” program supports training for those without it. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to working collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care across Operating Room and related units

• Follow established nursing standards and protocols

• Participate in regular on-call scheduling

• Enhance professional growth through ongoing training

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Requirements:

• Active Competence Certificate from the College of Nurses

• Current BCLS certification, with ACLS & PALS within 3 months

• Willingness to complete required nursing courses

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Police Vulnerable Sector Check needed
