In this essential role, you'll work within an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality care to clients in crisis. Your responsibilities will include administering psychiatric medications, developing nursing care plans, and facilitating group discussions. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care in the Intensive Care Unit and Assessment program
• Administer medications following CNO and RNAO standards
• Facilitate group therapy and engage in clinical discussions
• Assess and prevent suicide, manage crises
• Maintain accurate documentation for patient care
Requirements:
• Licensed RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 2+ years in Mental Health or Acute Assessment
• CPR/Basic Rescuer certification
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act and treatment protocols
• Experience in crisis management and documentation standards
