As a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) at Homewood Health, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide patient care within Trillium Acute Care's Emergency Mental Health and Addiction Services.

Your role will focus on crisis management, medication administration, and implementing bio-psychosocial care approaches. You will engage closely with patients in psychiatric crisis while ensuring adherence to CNO guidelines and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage crises in an Emergency Department setting

• Provide care for psychiatric patients in intensive care

• Direct team members as Charge Nurse when assigned

• Administer medications and document care accurately

• Facilitate interdisciplinary team discussions and patient conferences

Requirements:

• Licensed RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• 2+ years of Mental Health experience required

• Knowledge of Mental Health Act and community resources

• Strong clinical judgment and crisis management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
