(REGULAR PART TIME)
One () regular part time Registered Practical Nurse opportunity is available in the Emergency Department at Groves Memorial Community Hospital.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)Current BCLS CertificationDemonstrated assessment skills, enrolled in or completed Physical Assessment CourseACLSOne () year Emergency or Telemetry experience required (Preference will be given to candidates with current Emergency nursing experience.)Two () years Med/Surg experience requiredCompetent in IV therapy including initiationDemonstrated ability to function effectively in emergency situations.Demonstrated clinical assessment and patient/family teaching skills.Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated skill and knowledge of Therapy and venipuncture is required.Proven attendance recordExperience in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary settingDemonstrated lifelong learnerSatisfactory performance and attendance requiredSatisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start dateMust provide a Police Vulnerable Sector CheckMust complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hiredHOURS:
Must be available for all three shifts and weekends, as per department scheduleSALARY:
