This position is ideal for candidates with a nursing diploma and 1 to 2 years of practical experience. You'll focus on vital tasks such as administering medications, monitoring patients, and ensuring infection control. Your communication abilities will empower you to educate patients and their families about important health matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor established therapies and document results
• Conduct specimen collection and vital signs assessments
• Deliver nursing services based on patient evaluations
• Educate individuals and families about health and safety
• Collaborate with the healthcare team on care plans
Requirements:
• CEGEP or equivalent nursing education
• 1 to 2 years of nursing experience
• Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification necessary
• Transportation required for the role
