St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join its temporary part-time team. This key role involves supervising staff while providing compassionate care to long-term care clients. Focus on developing therapeutic relationships and managing complex medical needs, ensuring a high standard of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor clients' health conditions and vital signs

• Provide emotional support and counseling to clients and families

• Assist in creating individualized care plans

• Guide PSWs in daily care tasks and procedures

• Participate in quality improvement processes within the unit

Requirements:

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least one year of experience in long-term care

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Capability to manage competing priorities effectively

• Commitment to ongoing learning in nursing practices
