Registered Nurse - Surgical Suite at GMCH

Be a part of GROVES MEMORIAL COMMUNITY HOSPITAL as a temporary part time Registered Nurse in the Surgical Suite. Responsible for providing holistic care in the OR, Endoscopy, and Recovery Room settings.

This nursing role at GMCH involves working across multiple surgical departments with a focus on quality patient care. Applicants must possess a Post Graduate Course in Perioperative Nursing and have at least 1-3 years of operating room experience. Being prepared for a rotating schedule and on-call duties is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing support in the Operating Room and recovery areas

• Collaborate with surgical healthcare teams effectively

• Ensure adherence to patient care standards and policies

• Contribute to ongoing departmental education efforts

• Exhibit strong communication and organizational skills

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

• 1-3 years of experience in an Operating Room environment

• Certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS (or willingness to obtain)

• Preparedness to work rotate among various surgical areas

• Strong leadership and teamwork skills required
