Join Schlegel Villages as Director of Wellness for their Retirement facility in Guelph, ON. This permanent full-time role combines leadership with clinical oversight.
As Director of Wellness, you will be instrumental in managing clinical services and ensuring high-quality care for residents. Your responsibilities include leading clinical administration, mentoring the clinical team, and overseeing care plans and assessments. A commitment to compliance and risk management processes is essential for supporting the organization’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead oversight of clinical services in retirement
• Manage budget and inventory for clinical supplies
• Evaluate and support clinical care for residents
• Implement CQI audits and compliance plans
• Oversee medication management with the pharmacy
Requirements:
• RPN license in good standing with CNO
• Geriatric nursing experience is an asset
• Experience in nursing leadership preferred
• Strong focus on resident-centered care
• Ability to fulfill weekend and on-call duties
