REGISTERED NURSE - CLINICAL RESOURCE LEAD (CRL) MEDICINE
(REGULAR PART TIME)
Two () regular part time Clinical Resource Leads (CRL) opportunities are available within our Medicine Department at Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
We are seeking two motivated Clinical Resource Leads (CRL) with excellent leadership and communication skills. As the CRL, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the inpatient care areas under the direction of the Patient Care Manager. This includes assessment, planning, provision and evaluation of patient care and nursing services for the assigned area of responsibility. The CRL will serve as a clinical resource and role model for unit staff.
In the absence of the Patient Care Manager, you will assume responsibility for the functioning of the inpatient care area as directed. You will be part of a team of CRL's ensuring coverage hrs/ days a week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements:
Registered Nurse, baccalaureate prepared and in good standing with the College of Nurses of OntarioMinimum - years of relevant clinical experience in a medical-surgical environment, including intensive carePrevious experience as charge nurseCurrent certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Basic Cardiac ArrhythmiasExemplary attendance and work recordCompassionate with sound judgement, conflict resolution and problem solving skillsAbility to handle stress, be flexible and constantly adapt to shifting prioritiesKnowledge and demonstrated experience in approaches to effectively assist with and manage change and build capacity in self and in the teamAbility to lead change processes by helping stakeholders see necessity and value of change, and work to get people engaged and excitedEffective team player with leadership values that reflect a commitment to the development of themselves and others, culture development and best outcomes for patients, families and the
inter-professional teamNice to Have:
Formal leadership development coursesAdditional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support, STABLE, EFM, Breast Feeding, Critical Care Courses or Certificate, advanced wound care, geriatric management, obstetrics, currently or previous participation in the More OB Program etc.HOURS
