Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse

St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph seeks a Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse for long-term care. Provide client care and supervision while ensuring high-quality practices and compliance with nursing standards.

As an RPN eph’s Health Centre, you will deliver compassionate care to clients and guide support staff. Your key responsibilities include performing nursing assessments, managing therapeutic interventions, and fostering therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care and guidance to clients and support staff

• Perform nursing assessments for medical and psychiatric needs

• Manage medications and monitor vital signs diligently

• Establish and maintain healthy communication channels

• Participate in care management and quality healthcare practices

Requirements:

• Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum one year of long-term care experience preferred

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Capable of problem-solving in fast-paced situations
