Addiction Support Registered Practical Nurse

Be part of Stonehenge Therapeutic Community as an Addiction Support Registered Practical Nurse in Guelph. This position centers on client care, housing stability, and community engagement.

As an RPN, you will contribute to the Supportive Addiction & Mental Health Housing program, playing a vital role in assisting those with addiction and mental health issues. Your passion for health promotion, risk reduction, and compassionate care will enable clients to achieve housing stability and improve their quality of life. This role also involves travel within Guelph-Wellington, working alongside various professionals to ensure comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform health assessments and identify care needs

• Provide direct client care within the RPN scope

• Collaborate in interdisciplinary team meetings

• Document client interactions and treatment plans

• Support medication management and patient education

Requirements:

• Practical Nursing Diploma and RPN license

• At least two years of progressive nursing experience

• Experience in addiction or mental health is advantageous

• Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable transport

• Current CPR and First Aid certification
