Registered Practical Nurse at Homewood Health

As a pivotal member of our interdisciplinary team, you will deliver comprehensive nursing care across various units at Homewood Specialized Services. We seek candidates committed to quality care who can effectively engage in clinical discussions and adapt to changing patient needs and care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in diverse units as required

• Administer medications and follow treatment protocols

• Conduct clinical assessments such as Mental Status Exams

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams

• Mentor and coach nursing staff and new hires

Requirements:

• Current RPN registration in Ontario, in good standing

• Up to 6 months of nursing experience preferred

• CPR certification and knowledge of the Mental Health Act

• Understanding of documentation standards and privacy laws

• Crisis management skills and experience with psychiatric disorders
