Position: Homewood Health Practical Nurse Role

In this role, you will be an essential component of our seamless care delivery, responding to diverse patient needs within Homewood Specialized Services. Ideal candidates thrive in teamwork and exhibit a strong foundation in nursing best practices while remaining adaptable in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care aligned with patient care needs

• Monitor and administer medications across programs

• Initiate assessments upon patient admission

• Participate in team meetings and patient discussions

• Engage in mentorship and coaching for staff

Requirements:

• Active registration as an RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Up to 6 months of general nursing experience preferred

• CPR certification and Mental Health Act knowledge

• Familiarity with documentation and privacy standards

• Proven ability in crisis management and psychiatric patient care
