Registered Practical Nurse - OBS​/Surgical Unit

Groves Memorial Community Hospital seeks a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse for their OBS/Surgical Inpatient unit. This casual position offers the chance to positively impact patient outcomes in a supportive healthcare environment.

This role is perfect for an RPN with current registration from the Ontario College of Nurses. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with preferred qualifications in breastfeeding and neonatal resuscitation. Candidates must be prepared to work various shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in the OBS/Surgical unit

• Attend to the needs of patients and support families

• Collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment

• Stay current with IV training and maintain BCLS Certification

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses

• Experience with Maternal Child and BCLS Certification preferred

• Willingness to complete mandatory health assessments

• Must pass police background check prior to hiring

• Availability for day, evening, and night shifts
