This role requires providing high-quality nursing services while adjusting to diverse patient care needs. You’ll work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive appropriate psychiatric and non-psychiatric support.
Your role includes medication administration, ongoing assessments, and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care compliant with CNO standards
• Engage in clinical assessments and follow care plans
• Administer medications and treatments effectively
• Participate in meetings and case discussions
• Mentorship and guidance for team members
Requirements:
• RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in general nursing practice preferred
• Current CPR certification and knowledge of Mental Health Act
• Crisis management skills with acutely ill patients
• Able to work independently within a multi-disciplinary team
