Join Guelph General Hospital as a Registered Nurse in Surgical Services. This position requires an excellent communicator dedicated to providing high-quality care for surgical patients.
On the Surgery 6 West unit, you will implement evidence-based practices to enhance the patient experience.
Your role will entail building therapeutic relationships with patients while working closely with a skilled healthcare team. With each shift, you will be essential in coordinating care and ensuring adherence to nursing standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe and effective surgical nursing care
• Foster relationships with patients and their families
• Document care activities and communicate with the healthcare team
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development
• Ensure adherence to nursing best practices and safety standards
Requirements:
• Certificate of registration as an RN in Ontario
• BLS certification
• Experience in surgical settings
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive both independently and within a team
