Groves Memorial Community Hospital is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to provide care in its Medicine department. This role requires a strong focus on IV management and patient assessment skills.

Two casual RN positions are available, ideal for candidates with significant medical nursing experience, especially in palliative care. Applicants should be certified in BCLS and ACLS, with competencies in IV starting and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage IV medications effectively

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments

• Undertake charge nurse duties when required

• Prioritize patient care through ongoing education

• Assist with palliative care efforts in the unit

Requirements:

• Current College of Nurses certificate of competence

• Valid BCLS & ACLS certifications and IV proficiency

• Recent experience in medical and palliative nursing

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends
