Part-Time Mental Health Registered Nurse

Mental health nursing meets people-centered care in this part-time, on-site Registered Nurse position with Homewood Health’s Nursing Resource Team.

You will support patients with addictions and varied mental health diagnoses within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. The work includes medications, treatments, clinical assessments, and patient-centered care. Flexibility supports changing assignments across the Health Centre as directed.

• Provide nursing care for addictions and mental health diagnoses
• Administer psychiatric and non-psychiatric medications and treatments
• Initiate clinical assessments after admission and as needed
• Participate in team meetings and patient-family conferences
• Accept changing Health Centre assignments as directed

• Current CNO Registered Nurse license in good standing
• BCLS Level C for Healthcare Providers or equivalent
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act and community resources
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Clinical judgment grounded in current best practices
