Mental Health Registered Nurse

Mental health nursing meets evidence-based care at Homewood Health for a Registered Nurse serving patients with addictions and psychiatric diagnoses. Work within a collaborative Nursing Resource Team.

This Registered Nurse supports seamless services across Homewood Health’s mental health organization. The position involves psychiatric medications, clinical assessments, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient-centered care. Apply current best practices while supporting changing patient care needs.

• Provide nursing care for addictions and mental health diagnoses
• Administer psychiatric and non-psychiatric medications and treatments
• Initiate clinical assessments after admission and subsequently
• Participate in patient, family, and clinical team conferences
• Accept changing assignments across the Health Centre

• Current CNO Registered Nurse license in good standing
• BScN preferred, with CPMHN (C) an asset
• Experience with addictions and psychiatric diagnoses preferred
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act and community resources
• BCLS Level C or equivalent, with clinical judgment
