Registered Nurse Medical Nursing

Registered Nurses provide evidence-based medical care at Guelph General Hospital in Guelph, Ontario, across all shifts. Use assessment and communication skills.

This Registered Nurse position provides safe, effective care in partnership with patients and families. You will establish therapeutic relationships, collaborate with care teams, and coordinate, communicate, and document activities. The role follows College of Nurses of Ontario standards and hospital policies.

• Provide high quality, safe, evidence-based patient care
• Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families
• Collaborate with members of the patient care team
• Coordinate, communicate, and document patient care activities
• Remain accountable for decisions and professional practice

• College of Nurses of Ontario Registered Nurse registration
• Basic Life Support certification
• Current T.P.N., I.V., and Accudata certification
• Knowledge of pain and skin and wound management
• Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
