Animal Care Technician at Ceva

Become an Animal Care Technician at Ceva Animal Health located in Guelph, ON, dedicated to the care of birds in a vibrant production environment. Your primary focus will be on sanitation and compliance with animal health standards.

This position runs Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, where you'll maintain bird room cleanliness, assist in bird inoculations, and help with Eimeria species production. Record keeping and safety procedure adherence are crucial elements of this role, ensuring the highest quality of animal care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain production areas and bird rooms

• Help with bird feeding and observation

• Perform weekly inventory and ordering of supplies

• Support vaccination procedures as needed

• Maintain detailed records in accordance with SOPs

Requirements:

• High School Diploma essential

• Familiarity with bird care and sanitation practices

• Strong organizational skills for record keeping

• Ability to handle and operate technical machinery
