Quality Manager

Connect Tech Inc. is looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Manager that will be responsible for overseeing our company wide Quality Management System; ensuring that our quality assurance and quality control policies and procedures throughout the organization meet or exceed ISO 9001:2015 standards. You will work alongside a diverse and talented group of electronics engineers and designers, mechanical engineers, technical support, sales and admin individuals to continue Connect Tech’s drive within the embedded industry.

The Quality Manager will cover a wide range of responsibilities and duties including but not limited to:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's QMS.
• Work with all departments across the organization to ensure their compliance with the QMS ISO standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001:2015) and regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal and external audits, including customer and certification audits.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for product non-conformities.
• Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

• Establish and enforce quality standards and specifications for materials, products, and processes.
• Oversee the inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality considerations are integrated into product design and production processes.

• Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on their ability to meet quality standards.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.

• Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics and trends.
• Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to senior management.
• Use data to drive decision-making and process improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and/or experience with other Quality Management Systems (AS9100 etc.)
• Understanding of IPC-A-610 quality standards a must
• 5+ years of quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the computer hardware or electronics industries
• Experience implementing a Quality Management System throughout the organization (not just production) is a MUST
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Hands-on production experience, preferably within an electronics manufacturing environment
• Experience and/or education in process development/management, procedure creation and work instruction development
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Proficiency in quality management software and tools
• Well-developed communication, interpersonal, conflict management and negotiation skills
• Experience and developed skills in root cause identification and corrective action practices
• Strong time management and scheduling skills
• Able to effectively work independently with minimal supervision
• Adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
