Supplier Quality Assurance Lead

Position: Supplier Quality Assurance Lead at Mars
Elevate product quality at Mars as a Supplier Quality Assurance Lead. Ensure raw materials meet standards for food safety and continuous improvement across manufacturing sites.

In this role, you'll focus on assuring the quality of raw materials in the Palatant and Essentials category. You'll implement supplier improvement plans, manage inbound supply risks, and collaborate closely with commercial and operations teams. Travel is required at least 50% of the time, and you will engage in continuous audits and performance reviews to uphold compliance and product standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assure quality of raw materials in key categories

• Create and drive supplier improvement plans

• Manage supply risks including quality and compliance

• Conduct supplier audits and corrective actions

• Review supplier performance metrics regularly

Requirements:

• 2+ years in food manufacturing quality

• Strong understanding of food safety and auditing

• BS degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
