POSITION DESCRIPTION

Your position is responsible for providing professional and dependable service and to develop our Team’scapability to deliver JEC’s key objectives to all our customers and suppliers.

You will have a complete understanding of all customer/supplier requirements.

Yourunderstanding of JEC’s Business Management System Manual, the associated BMSpolicies, processes, and their interaction is imperative. A commitment to JEC’s philosophy of Safety,Morale, Quality, Cost, Delivery & Environment is a requirement.

This role will be measured againstspecific targets as noted in the departmental business plan.

SUMMARY
Responsible forthe accuracy of our product to ensure we meet our customer expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviewof product drawings received from the customer.

Assistto identify gauging and fixture requirements to ensure quality requirements aremet.

Concept,procurement, and buyoff of gauges and fixtures.

Gaugeand fixture control including MSA, lab scope and calibration.

Operation and maintenance of all metrology equipment.

Completion of all New Model and Mass Production measurement activities (CMM, Scanning, LMIetc.) as per PQCT.

Measurementanalysis activity completed, and level up plans scheduled and completed.

Maintenance and repair of all fixtures and measurement equipment.

Datapreparation and communication of measurement results to internal and external customers (recommend how to improve stamping etc..).

Keepsmanagement team abreast of significant issues or developments identified.

Assistto create inspection standards.

ReportingCM4D program daily.

Daily review customers request and data preparation for submission.

Onfloor internal support (investigate/adjustment in any urgent request).

Participates in Corrective Action and Continual Improvement activities.

Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Post-secondary education in Engineering or Engineering Technology desired as well as two ormore years of experience in PLC programming, instrumentation and controls is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability toread and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability toapply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadraticequations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to suchtasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability andvalidity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, andfactor analysis.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability todefine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
