Position: On-Farm Research Coordinator at OSCIA
Join OSCIA as an On-Farm Research Coordinator focused on advancing sustainable agricultural practices. This hybrid role fosters collaboration between farmers and researchers across Ontario.

In this dynamic position, you will play a key role in the implementation of on-farm research trials through the Living Lab – Ontario program. Your primary responsibilities would involve managing field trials, ensuring high-quality data, and collaborating with various stakeholders to translate research into practical applications. The hybrid model allows flexibility while maintaining crucial in-office presence for effective coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate agronomic research trials with farmers and partners

• Manage data quality from multiple sources and providers

• Assist in soil sampling and seasonal agronomic monitoring

• Facilitate effective communication with all stakeholders

• Promote research results at events and meetings

Requirements:

• Educational background in agronomy or related field

• 2-5 years of agricultural field research experience

• Solid grasp of Ontario field crop systems and practices

• Proven organizational and time management skills

• Ability to travel occasionally for fieldwork
