Become the On-Farm Research & Agronomy Coordinator with OSCIA based in Guelph, Ontario. Engage with farmers and researchers to implement innovative agricultural practices and trials.
This full-time role supports OSCIA's Living Lab – Ontario program, bridging farmers and research partners for effective agronomy trial execution. The ideal candidate will utilize agricultural expertise to coordinate on-farm practices while ensuring data integrity and quality. You'll manage sampling schedules and work collaboratively to communicate essential findings to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate agronomic trial activities including soil sampling and monitoring
• Engage with farmer cooperators for effective collaboration
• Monitor data quality from various sources
• Manage project deliverables and billing processes
• Support research outcomes through knowledge transfer
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in agronomy or related field
• 2-5 years' industry experience with crop systems
• Strong communication skills with farmers and researchers
• Proven organizational and time management abilities
• Valid Driver's license with frequent travel required
