Temporary Laboratory Technician - Uroliths

This temporary full-time position is set from July 13, 2026 to July 9, 2027. The successful candidate will manage and analyze veterinary uroliths utilizing both light and electron microscopy while ensuring proper data entry into LIMS. You should be adept at adhering to deadlines, responding to client queries, and maintaining an organized laboratory environment to support optimal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and prepare urolith samples for analysis
• Enter and maintain data in the Laboratory Information Management System
• Conduct chemical composition analyses of samples accurately
• Report thorough results to clients within defined timelines
• Safely file and store specimens following protocols
Requirements:
• Diploma focused on laboratory or science courses
• Experience with microscopy and chemical analysis
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Minimum one-year relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols in labs
