Elevate innovation at Polycorp Ltd as a Senior Materials Scientist in Elora, ON. Lead product development and application expertise to tackle complex materials challenges.
In this full-time role, you will spearhead the creation of new elastomeric materials and collaborate with various teams for successful product launches. Your experience in rubber technology and problem-solving abilities will be crucial in addressing customer needs and optimizing manufacturing. You will also mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to ISO standards for quality management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development of new material applications
• Collaborate on product commercialization and strategy
• Provide technical support for customers and teams
• Troubleshoot material processing issues
• Conduct laboratory experiments and analyze data
Requirements:
• BSc in materials science or relevant field
• 7-10 years' experience in rubber industry
• Strong knowledge of elastomer compounding
• Proven track record in product commercialization
• Excellent communication and project management skills
