Position: Microbial Laboratory Technician Role
Exciting opportunity with Maple Leaf Foods as a Microbial Laboratory Technician. You will perform crucial sample analyses while adhering to safety and GLP standards to ensure quality data.

In this role, you will conduct a range of laboratory tasks, from sample preparation and analysis to method validation for food and environmental safety. Your detail-oriented nature and proficiency in various analytical techniques will support lab operations and ensure compliance with quality protocols. You will work closely with team members to achieve common objectives and contribute to project work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct timely testing and analysis of received samples

• Design experiments and document findings systematically

• Perform routine calibration and maintenance of lab equipment

• Prepare and label samples accurately for testing

• Support the training of new team members in lab practices

Requirements:

B.Sc. or Diploma in Microbiology or Chemistry

• At least 1 year of laboratory experience

• Multi-tasking ability in high-accuracy tasks

• Proficient with computer applications for data management

• Strong commitment to quality and safety standards
