The successful candidate will assist the Institute for Comparative Cancer Investigation in managing biobank operations. You will coordinate data handling, enhance databases, and address researcher inquiries. This temporary full-time role from August 2026 to August 2028 requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a research setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate biological sample collection and data tracking
• Enhance biobank database with quality control
• Respond to researcher inquiries regarding sample access
• Support development of standard operating procedures
• Participate in external biobanking networks and initiatives
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree with lab or research experience
• Experience managing data quality and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Make an impactful contribution to cancer research and biobanking in a collaborative environment at the Ontario Veterinary College.
