This part-time role at Giant Tiger will be temporary until June 2025, ideal for motivated individuals who excel in customer service. You will accurately record customer transactions and ensure replenishment of merchandise in the checkout area. Adherence to health policies will also be a critical part of ensuring a safe environment for customers and coworkers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high-quality service at the checkout
• Accurately manage electronic cash register transactions
• Keep checkout areas stocked and replenished
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at all times
• Carry out loss prevention protocols effectively
Requirements:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with effective organizational abilities
• Capable of lifting 18 kg and performing physical tasks
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
• Commitment to following health and safety practices
