Pharmacy Clerk

Overview

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a temp part-time Pharmacy Clerk in Fergus Falls, Minnesota to provide excellent customer service by completing the sales transaction process for customers in a friendly, accurate and timely fashion. This individual is responsible for maintaining a clean and neat area in the pharmacy and work areas, greeting all customers and offering assistance.

• Provide excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
• Champion Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and Healthy Pack Rx  and assist with enrolling patients.
• Receive, unpack and verify merchandise; stock, clean and sort pharmacy product.
• Maintain health aids department as needed.
• Learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and modification of job responsibilities as required.
• Help anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality to fulfill essential job functions.

The employee may be required to talk and hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Experience operating a cash register is preferred.
• Ability to perform all required job functions without accommodation (with reasonable accommodations as needed).

Compensation: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour.
