A Stockperson/Cart pusher collects shopping carts from cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter and returns them to a safe storage location, while maintaining exemplary customer service.

• Assist in customer service by collecting shopping carts from cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter, and returning them to a safe storage location using Walmart approved procedure.
• Ensure necessary logs are completed.
• Respond promptly to requests at all registers and safely assist customers with carry outs or carry ins, verifying receipts for proof of purchase.
• Maintain occasional cleaning of restrooms, handle chemicals, follow disposal procedures and use power equipment including completing inspection reports before use.
• Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, ensuring guidelines for hazardous communications, lockout/tagout and blood borne pathogens are followed.
• Maintain Cart Retrieval Log at Customer Service Desk.
• Contribute to a safe, clean and hazard‑free work environment through adherence to company policy and procedures.
• Promote safety by wearing steel‑toe footwear and a proper reflective vest during cart collection for visibility.
• Complete safety sweeps as required.
