Overnight grocery stocking at Food Basics requires product organization and physical work. Prepare Grocery, Dairy, Frozen, and Bakery departments before opening.
This permanent part-time Overnight Grocery Clerk position supports receiving, replenishment, and merchandising across the Grocery Department. You will organize deliveries, restock products, maintain displays, and follow FIFO rotation. The work also includes pricing, signage, cleanliness, safety, and food handling.
Key Responsibilities:- Unload deliveries and organize backroom, cooler, and freezer products
- Restock Grocery, Dairy, Frozen, and Bakery departments
- Face and level products for shop-ready presentation
- Rotate stock using the first-in, first-out method
- Maintain promotional displays, pricing, signage, and labelling
- Ability to stock merchandise and create displays
- Good product knowledge and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand extensively and work under minimal supervision
Support Food Basics overnight operations through accurate replenishment, merchandising, product rotation, and safe department maintenance.
